Advancing biomedical optics for regenerative medicine

Optical microscopy can transform our understanding of regeneration.

Our mission is to create high resolution, deep tissue imaging that is fast enough to capture cellular dynamics in living creatures. We aim to use our technologies to help develop and biomanufacture next generation cell therapeutics.

Our research

We seek to understand the function & dynamics of living cells in musculoskeletal organs using multi photon optical microscopy. We are developing new tools to investigate sub cellular dynamics deep in highly scattering tissue— providing insight into cell and tissue health and regeneration. Of particular interest is understanding and controlling the fate of biomanufactured therapeutic cells.
